This room was being used for both crafting and homeschooling but there were too many items in the room to do any work. Within a day of organizing, the room was decluttered and organized as pictured. The project was able to be completed quickly as all organizing containers used were already owned by the client.

At the front of this small closet was a clutter of items that made it difficult for the client to access the rest of the closet. I sorted items and helped them determine what they wanted to keep, giveaway, or rehome to another part of the house. The shoe rack was then moved to afford easier access to both the shoes and clothes.

These built-in shelves store clothing, extra sheets, and extra blankets. I purchased a sock organizer box, shelf dividers, and a zippered storage bag. Clothing piles are now defined by shelf dividers with shirts and pants organized by color and type (short- or long- sleeve). Dress socks and athletic socks are stored in separate boxes, one behind the other. Extra sheets are now contained in green storage baskets the client already owned, while blankets are protected by the zippered storage bag.

This client inherited remnants of the previous owner's renovation (e.g. paint, tiles, old doors, screens). I helped the new owner determine which items were worth keeping and which would not be needed. The resulting space allowed me to organize and properly store the client's own items, providing clear pathways and easy access.

This closet originally held an assortment of items: office supplies, work binders, books, DVDs, and some toddler art supplies. After sorting, books and DVDs were rehomed so that all the toddler art supplies could be stored in the same place. Per client's request, the binders were consolidated: some documents were scanned and discarded, the remainder were alphabetized by topic, with the documents inside alphabetized by article. I created digital and electronic tables of contents for each binder for ease of finding and updating. All electronic cords were placed into a divided box that I created for the client. Office and art supplies were cataloged and placed in newly purchased and labeled storage drawers.
